I was so fortunate to have “found” Nazli. My brother had brought me some raw Thai silk fabric and I wanted to surprise him with a dress created for our next family occasion. Nazli had several ideas, and finally settled upon one that would “flow with the softness of the silk.”

With no pattern, she created a muslin pattern. We then modified a few spots. By the next time I dropped into her shop, she had done a beginning version of the dress—not yet ready to add sleeves or length, etc. One day, as I approached her shop, I saw my dress (through the glass door) already put together on her mannequin. Each visit was more exciting. She wasn’t afraid to add or modify her original design. She “doesn’t sleep at night” if it isn’t perfect!!

The day that the dress was ready, we were both so excited! I surprised my brother when I came down the stairs in my beautiful dress, Nazli’s creation… I only wish that she had been there to see it. I felt so lucky to be this very unique and beautiful creation.

Absolute BEST TAILOR svc & EXPRESS in Bergen County!! I bought my dress 5 hours before the wedding I was attending & literally called from Nordstroms in a panic! Nazli’s said, “Come on in! We will make sure we hem the dress perfectly.” They tightened the shoulder straps too & had it done in 2 hours! These are the most sincere, hard-working women & they do not overcharge you! Working with Nazli for my wedding dress was absolutely fantastic. She transformed my mother-in-law’s wedding dress from the 80’s for a 2024 bride while preserving its vintage charm. Absolutely incredible work, by an amazing woman! I bought a strapless dress from Davids Bridal that was at least 3 sizes too big on the waist and chest, and I also wanted to attach cap sleeves at the time. Nazli ended up making me complete custom handmade straps that matched exactly and fit the dress to me perfectly, also adding a sash/ribbon I had. The dress fit perfectly and looked exactly how I had imagined it. She replaced the back zipper with one that was hidden better as well. Nazli was a pleasure to work with, took her time, but knew what she was doing, had me in for several fittings and the dress was done on time. I would HIGHLY recommend her; she is also the nicest woman in the world! Price was VERY reasonable, especially for so much time put in! Before pictures with cap sleeves and lighter ribbon, after from wedding day with custom straps and a different ribbon I bought.

Nazli perfected my dress to fit me like a glove. I loved wearing the finished product to my cousin’s wedding.

I went to Nazli to alter my wedding dress two years after it was purchased, due to rescheduling the wedding a few times. When I purchased the dress I was 6 months pregnant. As you can imagine, it required a lot of work. I had some ideas for the dress, but Nazli steered me in better directions as she coached me on how to make the dress work best with my figure. She added straps to the dress, which I believe allowed me to enjoy my night without having to yank on the dress to keep it up, something that was not part of my “vision”. She went and shopped for fabric that complemented my dress perfectly! I got so many compliments on the fit of my dress, as many people asked how I found a dress that seemed to be made for my body. Working with Nazli was a total pleasure…I felt like I was visiting family when I went to see her. She also volunteered to cover my shoes in tulle so that the embellishments would not catch on my dress…something I didn’t even consider. I had a wonderful experience with Nazli and will be working with her on all my tailoring needs!!

This woman is INCREDIBLE! I brought her a very complicated situation with a dress and she exceeded my expectations. Not only was the end result stunning but she completed it ahead of time. Additionally, her energy and passion for her work is unmatched. She did an amazing job on my wedding dress.I received so many compliments. The entire bodice had to be reconstructed to fit my smaller frame. The alterations were reasonably priced and she did it in 2 fittings a week before the wedding. I would recommend my friends and family in need of alteration services. Her friendly, professional demeanor was icing on the cake. Definitely a plus 1 customer service experience.

I went to Nasli to have my wedding dress fitted. It was a complicated design with detailed silk and lace, and hand sewn embellishments. Nasli was professional and careful, taking detailed measurements and checking my wishes exactly. The gown came out better than I even hoped, the fit was beautiful and I have only the positive feedback for my experience. I will trust her with any future tailoring. Fairly priced, excellent quality.

Nazli was wonderful to work with and really saved the day with my wedding dress. She is friendly, hardworking and you can tell she really knows her stuff! After a horrible experience elsewhere, Nazli made the necessary alterations to my dress and I felt like a real princess on my wedding day! 🙂 Also, last minute there was a problem with my slip and Nazli worked tirelessly to fix it and my dress hung beautifully on the day. Nazli is amazing! My wedding dress was a size or two too large, so she took in the shoulders and hemmed the length (which was very tricky because it was a delicate lace material). The dress was also too low-cut in the bust for my taste, so she used some of the lace from the bottom of the dress plus other material to create a perfect little V layer to hide some of that cleavage! It came out so beautiful. She won’t let you leave unless she’s sure you’re satisfied. We’ve gone back a few times already to have pants tailored. Won’t go anywhere else!

Nazli took my emergency bridesmaids dress situation and honestly worked miracles in such a short amount of time. She was so helpful and kind, and did amazing work. She saved the day. I’d recommend her to anyone!
